360G-NYCC-SCIF\100224Offering craft sessions to children with disabilities meets the need for access to after-school activities, which provide opportunities to improve well-being through creative activity and build social connectedness.
This pilot project will allow us to assess the response from beneficiaries, carers and volunteers, and develop a scalable model to meet the need within the Harrogate District.GBP9889889882019-02-07https://www.northyorks.gov.uk/stronger-communities2019-02-07T05:12:45Zhttps://www.datanorthyorkshire.orgAfter School Clubs for Children with Disabilities
360G-NYCC-SCIF\100262We have recently started a Table Tennis Group in our Community Hall. We have two tables but the demand has been so great that we need to purchase at least another two tables if we are to continue to offer this activity. There are more people wishing to meet to play than we envisaged at the start of the project and we are confident that the number wishing to play will grow even further as the project develops and the news spreads. This can only happen if we purchase more equipment.GBP9729729722019-02-08https://www.northyorks.gov.uk/stronger-communities2019-02-08T09:28:00Zhttps://www.datanorthyorkshire.orgDevelopment of Table Tennis in the Community

We are a group of up to 15 people, young and old, who come together to meet, chat, play games and support each other.
We share local news and information about local events, all around the are, so people feel part of their community.
Many of the people who attend are vulnerable and it is important that we meet weekly to maintain contact and support each other.GBP9009009002019-02-13https://www.northyorks.gov.uk/stronger-communities2019-02-13T03:16:33Zhttps://www.datanorthyorkshire.orgEggborough Community Cafe

360G-NYCC-SCIF\100264The need for the boxing club is continually growing for the children and young p[eople of Whitby. Many of these kds are being referred by the police, schools or socal services in order to keep them engaged in positive behaviour, keep them out of trouble by channelling energy and learn appropriate behaviour and discipline. We are flexible with our fees because we are aware that many kids come from porrer backgrounds , so we only make small charges and waive when needed. The increased in demand has meant that we need more equipment in order to meet the varying needs.GBP995.98995.98995.982019-02-15https://www.northyorks.gov.uk/stronger-communities2019-02-15T02:53:22Zhttps://www.datanorthyorkshire.orgWhitby Boxing Club Extend
