Parking Spaces
North Yorkshire County Council is responsible for on-street parking only. All off-street parking is owned and managed by district and town councils.
The number of on-street parking bays marked individually or accommodating multiple vehicles has remained static for the period data is required.
On-street parking charges apply in towns with the Harrogate and Scarborough distrcits only.
The figures are for all general and disabled parking bays, including controlled parking zones only. Data does not include loading bays, taxi ranks, bus stop clearways or other vehicle or restricted use bays.
